Poonam obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2008 and her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State College of Law in 2012. Upon being admitted to the State Bar of California, Poonam clerked for Honorable Harry P. Gill in Bay City, Michigan. After moving to California in the summer of 2016, Poonam worked as an associate attorney specializing in class actions lawsuits and virtual currency. Poonam joined the law firm in May 2017 and handles all aspects of litigation, including default judgments, and has participated in the successful resolution of cases through dispositive motions, negotiations, mediation, settlement conferences, and trial.
